WHY I AM SO PASSIONATE ABOUT THE REBIRTH OF BUKALANGA AND THE RISE OF OUR LANGUAGES - TJIKALANGA, TJINAMBYA AND TSHIVENDA

I am fully convinced that in the struggle for Justice as Bukalanga nothing can ever be more important than Education, especially Science & Technology Education. As a Politician and Justice Activist it is not my intention to merely revive and reestablish TjiKalanga, TjiNambya and Tshivenda (the three great languages of Bukalanga) as mere suveniors, but to see these langauges becomes Media of Instruction in our Schools from ECD to University Level, with English only taught as a second language for international communication.

This will enable our children to quickly grasp concepts and understand the subject matter, in the process producing a huge mass of highly educated, innovative, inventive and entepreneurial people in our nation, leading to fast development and a world-class economy and very high standards of living. Such is my goal, and that is the end to which all my books, blogs, facebook and newspaper articles are written.

Imagine our children learning Math, Science, History, Geography, Commerce, etc in TjiKalanga, TjiNambya and Tshivenda. Why would they fail in their studies? The primary reason many of our children fail in the schools apart from a poor education infrustructure is because they are supposed to study and write 8 subjects in English, a language that they still havent mastered.

And Africa (with the one exception of Ethiopia) is the only continent that still uses the languages of the former colonial powers in day-to-day affairs. Look at South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Israel, etc they use their own langauges, with English only taught as a second language, usually to those who want to emigrate or enter the diplomatic service.

We can do this people, reclaim our langauges and help our children excell in school and build a world-class economy in our own land, the land of our Forefathers. If they could establish the Zimbabwe Civilization as epitomized by Maphungubgwe, Great Zimbabwe, Kame, we too can do even better ane greater. Ndaaa.
